Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Marcuvio handles information when you use its AI-assisted video creation, review, and publishing features.
1. Information we may process
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, Marcuvio may process:
- basic connected-account information made available through approved API scopes, such as an account identifier, display name, and avatar;
- OAuth authorization information and access credentials needed to connect to supported third-party platforms;
- video files, scripts, captions, hashtags, publishing settings, publication identifiers, and related content metadata;
- workflow, diagnostic, security, and technical logs needed to operate and troubleshoot the service;
- analytics or performance information if and when you authorize access to supported analytics features.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate connected accounts, provide requested creation and publishing functions, prepare and submit content, check publication status, maintain workflow history, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and support the service.
3. TikTok data and authorization
When TikTok is connected, Marcuvio uses TikTok data only for features that you authorize and only within the permissions granted to the application. Current publishing-related permissions may include basic account information and permissions required to upload or directly publish video content. TikTok authorization is subject to TikTok's own policies and controls.
4. Sharing of information
Marcuvio may transmit information to third-party services only as needed to provide requested functionality, such as TikTok for account authorization and publishing, infrastructure providers for hosting, and processing services used for content generation or rendering. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
5. Data retention
Authorization credentials are retained only for as long as needed to maintain a connected account or until they expire or are revoked. Content, publishing metadata, logs, and analytics may be retained for the period reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, subject to applicable law and technical requirements.
6. Security
Marcuvio uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect authentication credentials and service data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
7. Your choices
You may disconnect or revoke third-party access through the relevant platform where supported. You may also stop using Marcuvio. Revoking authorization may prevent publishing or analytics features from continuing to operate.
8. Children's privacy
Marcuvio is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where such collection would require parental or guardian consent under applicable law.
9. International processing
Service providers and connected platforms may process data in countries other than your own. Their processing is governed by their respective terms, policies, and applicable legal requirements.
10. Third-party services
Marcuvio may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Marcuvio is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in Marcuvio, third-party integrations, or legal requirements. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
12. Contact
Privacy questions may be submitted through the official Marcuvio website at https://marcuvio.com/.
